The Atlantic Road - Norway’s Construction of the Century and finest tourist road in the world

  • The famous  and  wonderful Atlantic Road with its eight bridges with a total length of 891 metres , winds  such as a sea serpent through the forceful  waves of ocean, and it also and surrounded by picturesque landscape.  

  • The Atlantic Road is amazing and wonderful road and a very popular tourist attraction. it is a 8.3-kilometre (5.2 miles) long stretch of road between the towns of Kristiansund and Molde .the two main population centres in the county of More og Romsdal in Fjord, Norway.
  • The Atlantic Road (in Norwegian called Atlanterhavsveien or Atlanterhavsvegen), it is a part of Norwegian national road 64 (Rv 64)
  • The construction of the road started on August 1983 and the construction took six years ,the Road was Opened on July 7, 1989 having cost 122 million Norwegian krone (NOK), the Atlantic Road is a National Tourist Road and was honoured as Norway’s Construction of the Century in 2005.
  • The British newspaper “The Guardian” called this the finest tourist road in the world.
